Join the local team and Cllr Hina Bokhari OBE AM for our Action Day on Saturday 14 February 2026

Hina Bokhari OBE will join us in the morning for door-knocking and delivery.

Hina Bokhari OBE was first elected to the London Assembly for the Liberal Democrats in 2021. Since May 2024, she has led the Liberal Democrat Group on the Assembly, becoming the first ethnic minority woman to lead a Group on the Assembly. She had previously been one of the first Muslim women elected to the Assembly. Hina has also been a Councillor in neighbouring Merton since 2018.

Whether your heart belongs to doorstep conversations, phoning local supporters and members, or delivering leaflets, there will be something for everyone. We'll provide a briefing and we'll go out in a group. If you haven't done this before, you'll be paired with someone experienced.

We will grab a light lunch at Caffe Nero's and we will end the afternoon session with a social at The Old Fields nearby.

Join us as we speak to voters in Thorpe, Longcross & Ottershaw ahead of May's local elections.

On Saturday 14th February, the Fflint Wrecsam team will be making a return visit for leaflet delivery and canvasssing in Bangor and the surrounding villages.

We'll be meeting on Station Road,  outside The Buck pub (opposite the church).  If you can spare a few hours, we'd love to see you.

At 10:30, we will have a big group photo at outside Benedict Cross' house before we set off.

We will stop for light lunch and refreshments (kindly provided by Benedict Cross) at Benedict Cross' house at 1pm.

Join the Ealing Liberal Democrats and London Young Liberals for our next Action Day in Ealing Broadway on Saturday, 21 February 2026. Following our successful Walpole Action Day in November 2025, we'll be supporting Young Liberal candidate Adam Keenan.

At 10:30, we will have a big group photo at Ealing Town Hall (opposite the road from Cafe Zee) before we set off.

We will stop for lunch at 1pm at Cafe Zee, and the Ealing Lib Dems will provide lunch for all Young Liberals attending.

There is a social at the end of the day from 4pm (pub location TBC) and the Ealing Lib Dems will provide 1 free drink (non-alcoholic for under 18s) at the pub.

In the morning, we'll be joining Shaun in Timsbury to canvass support ahead of Timsbury's parish council elections. 

We'll then have lunch at the excellent Lansdown Cricket Club BA1 3NE from 1 to 2:30pm. All welcome to join but do please purchase a ticket so we can plan accordingly. 

Finally, join Wera, Sammy and Michelle at the Cricket Club from 3 for an afternoon session in Newbridge. 

These sessions are open to all interested in Canvassing, regardless of experience levels. Training will be provided if requested. 

On Saturday 21st February, the Fflint Wrecsam team will be back in Ewloe for leaflet delivery and canvasssing round the village.  

We'll be meeting in the Village Hotel car park.  If you can spare a few hours, we'd love to see you.

Join Merton Lib Dems in Wandle ward - a key battle ground between the Lib Dems' Cllr Kirsten Galea and Phil Ling and Labour's deputy leader and Wimbledon parliamentary candidate in 2024.

This is a must win fight in a split ward with Labour.

They'll be canvassing and delivery on offer, a light lunch and social event at a local pub at the end of the afternoon session.
