Ainsdale Action Day - This Saturday!

Please join us on Saturday 18th April 2026 in Ainsdale for our first Action Day of the local election campaign.

Ainsdale ward (now in the Sefton Central constituency), has an incredible team of Lib Dem candidates, and we need your help to get the word out to residents.

If you can spare a little time this weekend to deliver leaflets in Ainsdale, please get in touch - details below. Our team will be out and about all day - so early risers & night owls are very welcome!

There's no minimum commitment, so if you can deliver 50 leaflets, or 500 we'd love to have your support. The weather should be clear but cool - perfect for delivering.

Ainsdale Councillor Lynne Thompson is joined by Rowena Gibson & Lesley Delves.

Lynne has an unparalleled record of service to Ainsdale residents and actively stands up for Liberal Democrat values on Sefton council. She is joined by Rowenna & Lesley, who are active members of the community, and together make a formidable, united team.

From securing the return of Children’s A&E to Southport Hospital, to leading community clean‑ups, repainting disabled bays, clearing walkways, and pushing for proper investment in Ainsdale beach and its facilities, this team will show what Lib Dem representation can achieve!

With postal votes arriving the following week and polling day only weeks away, we're pulling out all the stops — and we're delighted to be joined by Olly Glover, Liberal Democrat MP for Didcot and Wantage and Lib Dem Spokesperson on Transport.

Postal votes are expected to land the weekend of 18th/19th April and it is vital that we get out there and talk to residents as those envelopes hit the floor.

Join the Ealing Liberal Democrats and the Lib Dem Campaign for Racial Equality (LDCRE) for our next action day in Ealing Common on Saturday, 25 April 2026, to get Cllr Jon Ball, Cllr Connie Hersch and Lakhbir Singh elected.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided curtesy of our host for the day.

We'll confirm the exact location of the HQ for the day once you've RSVP'd, but it's a 10 minute walk from Ealing Broadway Station.

Finally, join Wera, John and Oli at 2:30 at Burdall's Yard Cafe, 7A Anglo Terrace, Bath BA1 5NH for an afternoon session in Walcot. 

These sessions are open to all interested in Canvassing, regardless of experience levels. Training provided!

Labour have let us down here in Lambeth. 

After 20 years of Labour rule, residents deserve a council that works for them, not against them. 

We have a crack team of Lib Dem candidates and activist who've been working hard for the past couple years to engage with their communities and show people that together, we can fix Lambeth. 

But this is when it's going to count. We need as many people as possible helping out on polling day to get voters out, and to remind them that a vote for the Lib Dems is a vote to fix Lambeth.
