Tony Ware - Candidate for Peterhead South and Cruden

Current Peterhead South & Cruden Lib Dem Councillor Colin Simpsonsaid,  
"'I'd be delighted to see Tony elected as a colleague in my ward and to working with him to resolve the many issues facing my constituents."

Introducing himself to the voters, Tony said:

"Hi, I'm Tony Ware and I am standing in the Peterhead South & Cruden by-election on Thursday 2nd July for the Scottish Liberal Democrats. I live in Rora, near Peterhead and have a huge interest in the town and its neighbouring villages. I have a proven track record of:

- getting results
- being able to put teams together to achieve a goal
- being willing and able to reach out to all kinds of people in order to get a job done

I try and make friends with everyone I am working with.

I want to champion individuals and our communities in Peterhead South and Cruden as your councillor.           
I am particularly keen to support those struggling to cope with the cost of living crisis.

My big ambition is to see the North East of Scotland realise the community benefits of  many millions of pounds each yearfrom the offshore windfarms, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and transmission operators, to be spent as our communities decide.
